CHECK OUT ?TIGER? SABILLO?S TITLE CHALLENGER FRANCISCO RODRIGUEZ JR AT 8:30 P.M. ON PBO-SKYCABLE TODAY

On the eve of WBO minimum weight champion Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo?s title defense against 20 year old Mexican Francisco Rodriguez Jr, Filipino fight fans can check out the challenger?s fighting style in a pre-fight special on Viva Sports ?The Main Event? telecast over PBO on SkyCable at 8:30 p.m. today.
Both fighters made the weight according to Dr. Ed De La Vega who is in Monterrey and will serve as cut-man in Sabillo?s corner.
Sabillo tipped the scales half-a-pound under the 105 limit while Rodriguez was on the dot at 105 pounds although Dr. Ed said he stepped off the scales in a hurry and had to be recalled but made the weight with no problem.
The pre-fight special will include highlights of Rodriguez? wins over former world champion Manuel ?Chango? Vargas, Victor Ruiz and Ernesto Guerrero which Rodriguez won handily as well as his controversial 7th round TKO loss to undefeated WBA light flyweight champion Roman Gonzalez when the fight was reportedly stopped prematurely.
