VILORIA CAN?T WAIT TO GET BACK IN THE RING
By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Former world WBO/WBA flyweight champion Brian Viloria can?t wait to return to the ring in a Top Rank fight card scheduled for March 29 at the Texas Station in Las Vegas.
Viloria, in an interview with Jhay Oh Otamias for the Manila Standard said he is ?eager to get back in the ring because there is something I need to accomplish? which is fighting for the world title once again.
He said ?the hunger is still there? and he?s been training hard.
Viloria said he is ?physically and mentally ready to put on a show? on March 29 when he faces 24 year old Puerto Rican Juan Herrera who has a record of 9-7 with 4 knockouts but has had some impressive performances.
The fight will be at 113-114 pounds and Viloria maintained that he?s ?mentally and physically ready and has been training hard ?for almost three-and-a-half months.
Herrera (2nd from right) poses with Miguel Robles during the weighin of their fight on Sep. 2012.
Herrera scored a 6th round TKO over Miguel Rafael Tapia on December 22, 2012 in a fight in which he dropped Tapia five times. Earlier, on September 1, 2012 he dropped a ten round split decision to talented Miguel Robles (11-1-2, 5 KO?s) in a WBC Fecarbox super flyweight title bout. Herrera is coming off a six round unanimous decision over Erickson Martell last December 14.
Viloria will be making his first appearance since losing his WBO/WBA belts to Mexico?s Juan Francisco Estrada by a twelve round split decision on April 6, 2013 and is eager for a rematch with Estrada in what he is hoping will be a title fight in Macau on May 31 on the undercard of the WBA featherweight title fight between Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire and South Africa?s Simpiwee Vetyeka.
