KNOCKOUT REALITY TELEVISION SHOW FINISHES FILMING IN LAS VEGAS

PhilBoxing.com

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - (February 2, 2014) Boxing's hot new reality television show Knockout finished up taping last week in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were many famous names on the set of Knockout, including boxing superstars Nonito Donaire, Robert Guerrero, Shawn Porter, Zab Judah, Ricardo Mayorga and many others. The show stars world class trainers Floyd Mayweather Sr, Yoel Judah, and Ruben Guerrero.

The cast is set to return to Las Vegas in May when the winners of the show (along with some of the losers) get their opportunity to fight on NUVO TV's inaugural boxing card. The build up to Knockout's television debut has caught the attention of other networks and a major video game developer that has seen the value in the viral explosion of Mayweather Sr. and Ruben Guerrero's on set feud that has been brewing ever since Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeated Ruben's son Robert last May at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

This has increased the value of all parties involved with the show, including the executive producer Steven Marcano, who is the direct reason for increasing boxing's in home viewership by over 50 million homes. Marcano brought Don King to the C.E.O. of Herring Broadcasting, Robert Herring, who's company owns the AWE Network (formerly Wealth TV). Under the direction of Herring and his sons Charles and Bobby, AWE was responsible for broadcasting some of 2013 most exciting international fights to over 25 million homes. Knockout will be broadcast to NUVO TV's approximately 35 million home (and growing) subscription base.

Knockout has already started receiving international distribution offers which will be handled exclusively through E7 Entertainment. Over the past month, Marcano has held meetings in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with some of boxing's biggest stars and major promotional companies, which has made him the go to guy for cable companies looking to enter into the boxing business or increase and improve their current boxing programming.

Marcano has two other projects in the works outside of boxing that are titled Drinks and Almost Out with his production partner Emilio Ferrari and his agents. The New York based Marcano stated that his main focus is making Knockout a major hit for NUVO TV. He plans to start a major PR campaign in March that will lead into the show's April premiere and culminate with the live fight card in May while also closing out the video game deal and watching over the growth of My Lil Star, his baby product company.

Knockout has proven to be a knockout even before it airs as it has become the most inquired about reality boxing series to date.
