HATTON PREDICTS PACQUIAO WILL PREVAIL OVER RIOS IN TOUGH FIGHT
By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Former IBO welterweight champion Ricky Hatton who lost his title in a devastating 2nd round knockout to ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao, predicts that the Filipino eight division world champion will win over Brandon ?Bam Bam? Rios in their WBO International welterweight title fight in Macau on November 24 but believes it will be a tough fight.
Hatton who is attending the WBC?s 51st Annual Convention in Bangkok, Thailand was quoted by the WBC in which he said "Manny Pacquiao is a very strong man, strong willed and a very talented fighter. However, the knockout he suffered against Juan Manuel Marquez will affect his confidence.?
Hatton recalled that he himself ?struggled when I got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather Jr. It wasn't as destructive as the one of Manny against Juan Manuel, and I struggled in my confidence for the next fight, so it is very difficult. But many great champions have that little extra of experience, extra energy and extra spirit that they can use in addition to their strategy.?
The British champion noted that Pacquiao ?has had a lot of hard fights, he's gone through a lot of weight divisions and he's had a very long career, so I personally think the writing is on the wall for Manny. He didn't look very good against Timothy Bradley, then he got knocked down like that. The signs don't look good, but he wants to come back and come back with a win.?
Hatton remarked that "Brandon Rios comes to fight, and if he comes to fight Manny it could then all go wrong. I do think it's going to be a tough night for Manny, but I also think he'll come back with a victory."
