CARLOS MOLINA DEFEATS ISHE SMITH BY SPLIT DECISION, CAPTURES IBF LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE

LAS VEGAS -- In the most boring fight of the night, Carlos Molina (R) (22-5-2, 6KO) of Mexico beat Ishe Smith (25-6-0, 11KO) of Las Vegas, NV by split decision and wrested the IBF Light Middleweight title from Smith. Judges Barry Druxman and Burt Clements had it in favor of Molina by scores of 116-112 and 117-111 respectively while female judge Adalaide Byrd had it 116-112 for Smith.
