NIETES, PINOY PRIDE XVIII BOXERS GO ON FIRST RADIO TOUR

Fighters who will be seeing action on March 2, 2013 for Pinoy Pride XVIII ?World Champion vs World Champion? (PPXVIII) went on a media tour to ?get in touch? with boxing fans over the airwaves. A series of visits to other major Broadcasting Stations are also underway to cater to the public?s clamor for the ring warriors. The familiar ?ALA Promotions? Pinoy Pride Bus? will take the fighters to various locations for the visits.

The group is made up of WBO Light Flyweight World Champion Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes, Asia Pacific Super Bantamweight Champion, Genesis ?Azukal? Servania and Jimrex ?the EXECUTIONER? Jaca. Joining them will be ALA Gym trainers Mr . Edito Villamor and Edmund Villamor. Boxing aficionados will be up for a treat as the fighters will go ?interactive?, answering questions live and on air. Their schedules will be as follows; February 8 DYKC- 10am/February 9 DYLA-7am/ February 10 BOMBO RADYO 7am/ February 10 DYRC 4pm and February 13 1pm.

Radio Station DYKC was the first stop of the tour, where veteran anchor Edward Ligas, himself a professional boxing judge, interviewed the PPXVIII group. The hearty chat talked about the fighters? preparations and motivations in training. Speaking in their native dialect ?Bisaya? the fighters related the rigid training they are undergoing. ?We are dedicating this fight to our families and the Filipino fans, who are our inspiration in training?, says ALA Promotions fast-rising star Genesis ?Azukal? Servania. The group invited radio listeners to the event on March 2, and promised them a very entertaining night.

The tour also give out tickets to lucky radio listeners who will be tuning in, giving Cebuanos and the public the chance to view Pinoy Pride XVIII live.

Pinoy Pride XVIII, ?WORLD CHAMPION VS WORLD CHAMPION? is a presentaion of ALA Promotions, Inc. and ABS CBN Sports. This mega event will be held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on March 2, 2013.
