PALICTE BROTHERS GEAR UP FOR AUG. 16 MANDALUYONG FIGHT CARD

Boxing siblings Vincent and Aston Palicte are in the final stages of their preparation for the August 16 fight card set at the Mandaluyong City Gym. Vincent ?Popeye? Palicte (14-3-1, 7 KOs) will face Frederix Rodriguez (8-2-1, 6 KOs) for the vacant WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight title. On the undercards, Aston Palicte, Vincent?s younger brother, will fight Mark Joseph Costa (4-5-2, 1 KO).
Also penned to see action are Jerwin Ancajas vs. John Mark Bautista, Jerson Luzarito vs. Marzon Cabilla, Philippine junior welterweight champion Adones ?The Undertaker? Cabalquinto vs. Jaypee Ignacio in a non-title contest, and Joebert Alvarez against Nelson Llanos.
