Omar Ni?o was the first one to step on the scales to easily score 112 lbs in his first try. The experienced Mexican former world champion looked satisfied and relaxed while smiling for the cameras of Philboxing.

After Ni?o, then it was the world champion Brian Viloria who came to the GAB scale. The Filipino also easily made the limit of the flyweight category, showing himself focused and in great shape during the ceremony which took place at the luxurious Discovery Suites in Pasig City.

It was a notably quick well organized proceedings.

Meanwhile, the Mexican team under the command of the well-known Don Fernando Montiel Sr. looked themselves optimistic and ready to bring the glory with another world title to Mexico.

"I feel so happy to be here in the Philippines. I feel in great shape. My training in Mexico was great and I am ready defeat Viloria again," said Omar Ni?o to PhilBoxing.

"It's great to have a weigh-in in the morning and then fight tomorrow morning. We like it like this. Because we will have the whole Saturday to eat and rest and regain weight. We expect to gain 8-10 pounds. Brian will get back a lot too. Both will be strong and powerful warriors throwing punches. It's gonna be another thrilla in Manila."

The medical check-up delivered by Doctora Mae Banez was equally successful. Both fighters passed the examination with flying colors. Omar Nino had a blood pressure of 100/60.

Paolo Diaz of Elite Promotions, the boxing arm of Solar Entertainment anticipates a very good combat, competitive and exciting.

"It's always thrilling when we have two top professional fighters like Brian Viloria and Mexico's Omar Nino for a WBO world title. At Elite Promotions we are glad and proud to present this world class boxing show to the Philippines and world audience."
