PINOY CAG-ONG FAILED TO WIN VACANT WBC YOUTH SILVER FEATHERWEIGHT BELT AT THE BAKBAKAN SA STA. ROSA

FILIPINO campaigner Dizon Cag-Ong of Brusmick International Boxing Promotions of Sta. Rosa Laguna, Philippines failed to win the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth Silver Featherweight Championship belt after suffering a 7th round TKO verdict against eventual winner Dai Iwai of Japan was held in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on Sunday.
The recent boxing card dubbed as "Bakbakan sa Sta. Rosa" jointly organized by Brusmick International Boxing Promotions and Elorde International Productions and presented by Petron and Ginebra San Miguel.
Sharing the limelight is Super Flyweight bet Rex Tso of China matapos who beat Billy Joe Aquino via 4th round TKO win.
In other results, Super Bantamweight warrior Rey Perez won a 10th round unanimous decision against Prell Tupas, flyweight Dino Lelis tallied a 10th round unanimous decision win opposite Ruther del Castillo while flyweight Harry Gutana took a 3rd round knock-out win over Salvador Layson.
Bantamweight Cris Paulino subdued Menard Zaragosa via an 8th round unanimous decision win.
