CELESTINO CABALLERO RETAINS HIS WBA WORLD TITLE IN YOKOHAMA

Panamanian star fighter Celestino "Pelenchin" Caballero successfully retained his WBA featherweight championship by scoring a unanimous decision victory over brave Japanese challenger Satoshi Hosono on new year's even in Yokohama, Japan.

With better boxing skills, accuracy and experience, the talented Caballero completely dominated Satono over the 12 rounds of combat, in which there were no knockdowns nor cuts.

With this victory the Panamanian defended for the first time his second world championship. Celestino Caballero, an old friend of legendary Filipino monarch Gerry Penalosa, is a two-division world champion who has also reigned as unified WBA/IBF super bantamweight world champion.
