Morikawa in their blue ribbon match for the interim bantamweight championship of the Colt 45 Universal Reality Combat Championships XIX which get underway April 2 at the World Trade Centre in Pasay City. The Rafols-Morikawa confrontation will decide who will succeed belt-holder Justin ?Shocker? Cruz, who has decided to take a hiatus status to concentrate on his new love, firefighting. Both Rafols Morikawa are both undefeated so the organizers decided to pair them to determine who between them will emerge the best in their division, URCC president Alvin Aguilar said during Friday?s SCOOP Sa Kamayan weekly session at the Kamayan Restaurant-Padre Faura. The Rafols-Morikawa match is one of the 10 fights the Colt 45-backed classic put up including the match-awaited rematch between Yay Yaw Buhawi?s Alvin ?Sindikato? Ramirez and reigning pinweight titleholder Roy ?Punisher? Docyogen of Lakas MMA in the featured match. Co-headlining is the encounter between Honorio ?Rock? banario, also of Lakay MMA, and Davao?s KO King Angelito ?Saint? Manguray for the latter?sd lightweight crown. Also fighting in the card starting 8 p.m. are featherweights Bernard Soriano against Charles De Tomas, Karl Rodriguez against Dowen Dela Torre, Andrew Benibe against Michael Dan Rubio and Franz Faltarejos against Red Romero, all in the featherweight division; Agustin Delarmino Jr. against Jelmar Tangayan (flyweight); Chris Luna against Frank Navarro (Light-heavyweight); Isaac Tuling against kevin Belngton (135-pound catch weight); and Honorio Banario against Angelito Manguray (lightweight).
