Head to head analysis of Lisa Brown vs. Ana Julaton

PhilBoxing.com

Lisa Brown possess many variables, which make her a dangerous opponent. One is that her experience is so vast and lengthy. She has had 12 round wars and come out the winner and also has gone the distance and has lost. At first one may think that may discount her, but in fact it has given her the edge. She gains the knowledge base of what works in a long battle. What force is required to keep her attrition at a competitive level without completely burning out.

Her aggressiveness and strong punching style make her a no-non-sense type of fighter. The only thing flashy about Lisa Brown is her Kayo power. She likes to move forward commanding the ring. A definite asset as well is that not only is she a southpaw fighter, but a seasoned southpaw fighter. This may prove tricky for even the most calibrated veterans. Her long resume is listed with mostly wins and only five losses, that to which have never been by way of knockout and some to split decisions. Judges agree with her, and most times, those judges have been in the opponent?s hometown. Last variable that may prove, as an obstacle is that Lisa will compete on a stage, which she calls home. A stage not often offered, but long waited. Her keys to victory lie in overwhelming the inexperienced fighter in the early rounds preventing any gathering of momentum towards her opponent.

Ana Julaton is young, fresh, hungry and vibrant. Her eclectic background of fighting styles only forges her strengths. She brings a dimension of boxing not seen commonly by the standards of female fighters. Aggressive and knowledgeable, she brings a high punch count to the table often throwing many to land the prized left hook or impressive straight right. The choice of angles during the inside fighting she pursues has earned her several knockdowns. Her style is an accumulation of many great coaches notably Freddy Roach and Nonito Donaire Sr. The only variable against Ana in this match up is lack of experience, to which that variable does not present itself at anytime during any of her matches. She is disciplined, honorable and tenacious, but also remains generally eager to be in the industry of pugilism. Her keys to success lie in nullifying Lisa?s aggressiveness with strong snapping jabs by the dozen, counter angle and counter punching, evasive footwork and a well timed straight right should earn her nods from the judges.

The best prediction at this moment would be in favor of Lisa Brown by way of decision or TKO in the later rounds. Ana lacks experience that Lisa possess going through long arduous battles. Lisa has made a career of this habit. She has won belts this way and will continue to do so even past this fight. If Lisa does not stop Ana in the later rounds she (Lisa) will most likely look the more polished of the two when the final bell rings. This fight can still prove as an excellent learning tool for Ana. To fight a full-length fight with a seasoned fighter would only push her career and experience even further. Ana, in any event, will come out having an experience that will assure her to be one of the most feared fighters for this next generation coming.
