DONAIRE IN KATSIDIS, JULATON CORNERS!

It seems good breaks continue to come Nonito Donaire Sr's way as he has been tapped to be in the corner of real warrior Michael Katsidis when the latter takes on Vicente Escobedo next week for the interim WBO lightweight crown.
Katsidis versus Escobedo will be one of the explosive undercards lined up for the Numero Uno/Number One card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The elder Donaire is coming off working the corner as co-trainer to Marvelous Marvin Sonsona for the latter's successful try at the WBO superfly crown against Jose "Carita" Lopez in Canada.
Then this weekend, Donaire Sr will once again work in the corner of yet another world-title event as he will be in the corner of top Fil-Am fighter Ana "Hurricane" Julaton who will take on Kelsey Jeffries for the vacant IBA world superbantaweight female title.
After this weekend, Donaire Sr will fly to Las Vegas with nephew Arvin Jugarap to be in the corner of Katsidis to assist trainer Brendon Smith and serve as cutman for the Australia-based fighter.
Donaire Sr also trains unbeaten world-ranked bantamweight Jundy Maraon, who has been calling out Vic Darchinyan to a fight.
