NIETES, GORRES IN TIJUANA!

TIJUANA, MX -- WBO minimumweight champion Donnie Nietes (L) and bantamweight contender Z Gorres, both from Philippines, pose at the La Mesa Hotel in Tijuana after the duo, together with the rest of Team ALA, crossed the U.S. border Sunday afternoon. Nietes will defend his crown on Saturday against Manuel Vargas while Gorres takes on Cruz Carbajal, both Mexicans, at the El Palenque de la Feria in Tepic, Nayarit.
