SOLAR, GMA TO AIR SONSONA VS LOPEZ BATTLE

Solar Entertainment and GMA-7 will air the WBO superflyweight title challenge of Filipino Marvin "Marvelous" Sonsona against Puerto Rican world champion Jose "Carita" Lopez on September 4 (Sept. 5 RP time) at Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada.
Sonsona's Philippine promoter Sammy Gello-ani informed yesterday that Sonsona versus Lopez takes place 10:30PM in Canada, around 10:30 AM in the Philippines.
Sonsona is looking to be Philippines' next world champion and hopefully become the youngest Filipino world champion thus far.
The event will be staged by promoter Allan Trembly of Canada in association with Sampson Boxing Promotions LLC.
Sonsona arrived in Canada with trainer Nonito Donaire Sr and latter joined by co-trainer Jun Agrabio the following day.
In the co-support of ?Rumble at Rama IX? Canadian former IBF Junior Featherweight world champion, ?The Canadian Kid? Steve Molitor (29-1, 11 KO?s) will face tough Argentine Sergio Escobar (11-8-1, 2 KO?s).
Also undefeated Canadian Heavyweight Greg ?The Steel Pole? Kielsa (10-0, 5 KO?s) will take on American Kevin Monty (17-6-1, 13 KO?s) in a 10-round tiff.
