?El Torito? Rafael Concepcion of Panama will return to the Philippines to face the hard hitting Drian ?Gintong Kamao? Francisco for the WBA International Super Flyweight Championship in Cuneta Astrodome dubbed as ?Banal na Paghihiganti? on July 26.
Concepcion, who scored a 10th round knockout victory over previously undefeated AJ ?Bazooka? Banal to win the WBA Interim super flyweight title at the Cebu Coliseum last July 26, is set to face undefeated Francisco ironically on same date. But after his victory win over Banal, Concepcion lost in a slugfest against Mexican Jorge Arce in the 9th round. But he soon recovered with a 2nd round TKO over Emerson Nisperusa in his home town in Panama on November 28 before taking on former WBO minimum weight champion veteran Kermin Guardia and winning an eight round unanimous decision.
Gintong Kamao?s upcoming slugfest will be his biggest fight in his boxing career. He is undefeated in his last 16 outings including 12 impressive knockout and has been preparing for almost a month on his camp in Touch gloves gym in Agoncillo, Batangas. He holds a college degree in Commerce in Sablayan Occidental Mindoro was also one of the sparring mates of Donaire in his training in Baguio City with his preparation against Raul ?Cobrita? Martinez. Donaire finshed the fight with a knockout in the 4th round. Francisco said ?he learned a lot from Donaire and he is ready to use it on his fight against Concepcion?.
