NIETES, RAMIREZ MAKE WEIGHT!

FILIPINO WORLD CHAMP KEEPING UPDATES THROUGH PHILBOXING.COM
Both WBO minimumweight champ Donnie Nietes of the Philippines and Erik Ramirez of Mexico easily made weight during official weigh-in held today in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Nietes came in at a very trim 104.3 lbs, while Ramirez checked in at a perfect 105 lbs for tomorrow's 12-round showdown.
Nietes also passed his medicals, according to a message from Mexico sent to his chief handler Antonio L. Aldeguer.
According to Dr. Allan Recto, who will serve as cutman to Nietes in lieu of Dr. Ed De la Vega who is currently vacationing in picturesque Panglao in Bohol, Nietes has been resting well and is keeping himself abreast with the latest news by reading Philboxing.com on a daily basis.
