PARTY GALORE AWAITS 'DREAM MATCH' WINNER
By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Sat, 06 Dec 2008

LAS VEGAS--Whoever wins today's 12-round battle, or even to the loser, a grand party awaits for him either at the famed MGM Grand Hotel and Casino or the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
This as both Oscar De la Hoya and Manny Pacquiao have booked after-fight party places where their respective supporters can wine, dine and unwind after the fight.
De la Hoya and his group have chosen the MGM Grand's Studio 54 as their party place. The 22,000-square-foot nightclub offers four dance floors and bars, an exclusive area on the second floor for invited guests, and several semi-private lounges capable of accommodating up to 400 people.
De la Hoya expects several of his friends mostly women, including Hollywood celebrities, to troop to Studio 54 after the fight.
According to company website, Studio 54 is a modern interpretation of the original, featuring state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting, live dancers and chart-topping dance music.
Pacquiao and his coterie, meanwhile, have opted for the more tropical Rumjungle located at the Mandalay Bay, the same venue used by world flyweight king Nonito Donaire Jr for his most recent win.
Rumjungle, according to company website, begins its nightly transformation into the hottest nightspot in Las Vegas. A world of rhythmic fire and melodic waterfalls, this visually spectacular three-tiered nightclub features the world?s largest rum bar and one of Vegas? best dance floors. Alluring dancers, enchanting aerialists and exotic live percussions invite guests to realize even their most primal fantasies.
