OLYMPIC BOXING 5: 1928 OLYMPICS AT AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

The 1928 Summer Olympics was celebrated from July 28 to August 12 1928 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

It marked the debut of the Olympic flame and the first time women were allowed to compete in athletics and gymnastics events. In this edition of the games Germany returned to the Olympic competition.

A total of 144 boxers from 29 nations competed at the Amsterdam Games:
