(ACAPI 1st Conference 2024) are set to slug-it-out in the upcoming Semi-Finals Matches due to start its Game 1 on April 16, 2024, Tuesday, using the Chess .com Online chess platform.

As reported by ACAPI Tournament Director, NA/Engr. Joel Anthony Hicap, the Quarterfinals Match results for the Senior Division, Surigao Diamond Knights (SDK), a team owned by ACAPI President/Engr. Rey Urbiztondo, trounced San Juan City-Crame-PPKGCC with the score of 26 - 22 to barge into the Semifinals.
The foreign-based Madridejos Knights Chess Club (MKCC) outclassed Valenzuela City-White Knights Chess Club, 36 - 8, while Las Piñas City-TFCC Chess Movers Club (LP-TFCC CMC) subdued Malolos City Chess Club, 27 - 21 and Panabo Knights Chess Club (PKCC) edged out Davao Durianburg Stallions, 26 - 22. The Senior Division Semi-Finals will be a grudge match between Surigao DK and Panabo KCC, and the other match will be between Top Seed Madridejos KCC and Las Piñas City-TFCC CMC.

For the Open Division, Panabo KCC defeated Malolos City CC (98 - 22) to setup a Semis match with Las Piñas City-TFCC CMC, who smashed Tangub City-AMOFCA (118 - 38). While Oroquieta City-AMOFCA won over Misamis Occidental-MEPCA (73 - 51) to face Davao DS, who crushed Valenzuela City-WKCC (97 - 15).

In the Female Division, top-ranked Las Piñas City-TFCC CMC defeated Valenzuela City-WKCC (42-6), Imus City-CEFAG-PPKGCC overpowered Malolos City CC (30 - 6), Davao DS prevailed over Toledo Xignex Trojans (36 - 12) and Laguna-WKCC waylaid Panabo KCC (24 - 16). For the Youth Division, Panabo KCC prevailed over Toledo XT (30 - 6), Davao DS edged out Valenzuela City-WKCC (25 - 23), Biñan City-UPHSL Team "A" won over Laoag Sunshine City CC (28 - 20), and another Biñan City-UPHSL Team "B" defeated Tangub City "B"-AMOFCA (36 - 8 For these outcomes, Panabo KCC will meet Davao DS in Match 1 Semis while sister-act Biñan City teams "A" & "B" will play Match 2.

Among the QF winners in the Under-12 Division are Tuguegarao City Kidz Chess Club Teams "A" and "C", who defeated Las Piñas City-TFCC CMC (27 - 21) and Valenzuela City-WKCC (32 - 16), respectively. While Laoag City SCC upset Panabo KCC (28 - 16) and Toledo XT hacked out a hard-earned win versus Davao DS (29 - 19).
