King's Gambit Online Chess School Players Win Tournaments

King's Gambit Online Chess School Players of Coach Richard Villaseran won big tournaments over the weekend with National Master Michael Jan Stephen Rosalem Inigo and Christian Mendoza leading the way.
Inigo was champion of the Mary Sitti Otod Fide Rated Invitational in Valencia, Negros Oriental while Mendoza ruled the 2024 1st Amateur FIDE Rated Tourney in Quezon City.
Promising 7-year old Art Joe Capatan stunned his older rivals by bagging 2nd place in the Singapore Qualifying tournament Mindanao leg and qualifying for the grand finals in the process.
Tiv Omangay tied for 3rd in a non-master tournament in Pampanga while Jeremy Marticio and Zedric Silva tied for 4th in a tough open tournament in Laguna.
Xandro Desepeda meanwhile, ruled the Laguna Division Meet elementary division.
"We have a very good depth of talents in King's Gambit Online Chess School. Our goal is for all of them to improve and reach their full potential in the process," said Coach Richard Villaseran.-Marlon Bernardino-
