Bantay, Navidad all set for today's encounter in Cavite

BACOOR, Cavite -- Super bantamweights Junebirt Bantay and Jimboy Navidad both tipped the scales at 122.4 pounds during the official weighin yesterday ahead of their bout today at the Classic Homes near SM Bacoor.
The 23-year-old Bantay of Libuna, Bukidnon aims for another knockout when he fights his second bout.
"Pipilitin kong manalo ulit ng knockout," said Bantay, who is from Yolly "Ate Yolly" Alfante Boxing Stablet in Bacoor.
Navidad, however. is not to be taken for granted being a fighter from El Tigre Stable from Mandaluyong City.
"Lalabanan ko siya ng patas," said Navidad.
There are six other fights included in the match sanctioned by the Games and Amusement Board.
Robert Ronquillo also of Libuna from Alfante Boxing Stablet seeks his second win against newcomer Bryan Flores of Baruch Stable from Taguig City.
Kasty Flores of Alfante BS from Jasaan, Misamis Oriental versus Jomar Delfino.of Onyok Stable from Batangas City.
Jeplex Quirante from Alfante B, of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon will make his debut against Jerwin Meneses of Onyok Stable.
The trainer of Alfante BS is Jerron "Hammer" Talaman.
Yolanda "Ate Yolly" Alfante is promoting the fights with the help of Jimmy Vallares Jr.
Joseph Quiro is the matchmaker.
