Mata is seniors champ

NORBEN “Bok” Mata of Ma-a hit two birdies to win the Seniors Division of the Monthly Medal for May at the Apo Golf and Country Club at Bago Aplaya in Davao City.
The 61-year-old Mata got his ace shots at hole numbers 3 and 14 for a total net of 66.
“I just played for the first time as a senior in the Apo monthly medal,” said Mata.
Net runner-up was Edwin Valledor Sr. with a 78.
Meanwhile, 8-handicapper Ronald Galicia shot a 78 to cop the over-all gross champion while Bernard Alcoriza, a 27 handicapper, took the over-all net champion with a 59.
