Dasmarinas to fight Indon on May 23

PHILIPPINE super bantamweight champion Michael “Hot ‘N Spicy” Dasmarinas is fighting Indonesian Patrick Liukhoto at his hometown in Camarines Sur on May 23.
It will be Dasmarinas’ first bout since he won the Philippine super bantamweight title last October 2022 in Tacloban City.
The 30-year-old Dasmarinas (32-3-2, 21 KOs) won the title by unanimous decision over Ryan Rey Ponteras of Panabo.
Liukhoto, on the other hand, has 16 wins with 11 knockouts, 2 loses and 2 draws.
He won the Universal Boxing Organization World bantamweight title by stopping George Lumoly in the 2nd round in Jakarta.
The boxing, dubbed as “Buruntulan 2023” is set at Fueste Complex in Camarines Sur.
It is promoted by Vilma Acosta of Hardstone Monis Promotions. Matchmaker is Romart Monis.
It is also sponsored by Gov. Luigi Villafuerte, Fairtex, Monis Gym, Lumaban Combat Sports and Hacket Willytampol Vlog.
