In Eight Annual Giveaway, the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation Donates More Than $25k in Equipment to Five Southern California Youth Boxing Programs

DUARTE, CA (March 15, 2023): The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation donated more than $25K in state-of-the-art boxing equipment for its eighth annual giveaway to five, Southern California boxing gyms. Chairman and CEO of Golden Boy Promotions Oscar De La Hoya presented the equipment to dozens of youth at Duarte Boxing Gym, one of the chosen gyms, alongside Golden Boy fighters from the Zurdo vs. Rosado DAZN event and City of Duarte officials.

About The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation
Founded in 1995, the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation annually hosts a golf tournament, a boxing gym equipment donation, Thanksgiving dinner giveaway and holiday toy giveaway in addition to supporting the Oscar De La Hoya Ánimo Charter High School, the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center and the Oscar De La Hoya Labor and Delivery Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (both located at White Memorial Hospital in East Los Angeles). Today, with the help of many partners, the foundation serves thousands of people annually.
