BANGKOK, Thailand — Wearing his traditional Keffiyeh, Thailand’s unbeaten world-ranked 140-pounder Phoobadin Yoohanngoh (16-0, 9 KO's), retained for the 6th time his WBA ASIA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision win over tough Vanlalawmpuia (6-2-1, 4 KO’s) of India on Saturday, February 4, at the plush Spaceplus Night Club Bangkok, live in Thailand on Workpoint TV Channel 23.
Yuttapong Tongdee wins over F. Zoramchhana. In the co-feature, undefeated 29-year-old Thailand titlist Yuttapong Tongdee (10-0, 5 KO's), scored a unanimous decision victory over tough challenger F. Zoramchhana (4-3, 0 KO’s), to keep for a 2nd time his WBA Asia Bantamweight Strap. The referee in charge was WBA’s veteran third man Pinit Prayadsab. Official scores were 99-91 (twice), and 97-93. Also, in a non-title supporting bout, India’s young bantamweight warrior Laldinsanga (3-0, 3 KO's), stopped Kwanchai Pliankhunthod (5-6, 5 KO's) of Thailand for a round 3 TKO win.
