ALDU Cup bares cash prizes at stake

A TOTAL of P395,000 is at stake in the ALDU Cup of the three divisions of the Davao del Norte Basketball League (DDNBL).
DDNBL Commissioner and SanMan Sports Foundation Chairman Arman Sañano said the champion in the Inter-Agency Division received P75,000 cash prize.
The second placer will get P50,000 while the third and fourth will take home P30,000 and P20,000 respectively.
The champions in the Inter-Collegiate and the Inter-Elite divisions will both get P50,000.
The second will received P30,000, third P20,000 and fourth P10,000.
Meanwhile, the ALDU Sanman commercial team mentored by Rael Diaz finished first runner-up in the just concluded Tagum Open Invitational basketball tournament last November 20 at the Rotary Gym in Tagum City.
C’zarles Construction of Butuan emerged as the champion.
The tournament was participated by eight teams coming from Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Maco, Butuan, Tacloban and Davao City.
It was held in celebration of the Tagum City Parochial Fiesta.
