By Reylan Loberternos PhilBoxing.com Wed, 16 Nov 2022

Las Vegas, Nevada – The Dallas Mavericks squandered an early 25-point lead, but recovered late to beat the visiting LA Clippers 103-101 on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, Philippine time) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Luka Doncic led all scorers with 35 on 11-for-22 field goal shooting and a perfect 11-for-11 from the charity stripe, to go along with 11 boards, 5 dimes, and 3 steals. That was his eleventh 30-point game in 13 games, thus far, this season.
Dorian Finney-Smith added 21 points on seven three-pointers for the Mavericks, who improved to 8 wins and 5 losses, which is good for 5th place in the Western Conference team standings.
Playing on the second night of back-to-back, Paul George played the entire second half to try to lead the Clippers’ rally and finished with 23 markers, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Nicolas Batum had a perfect field goal shooting night, making all of his seven shot attempts that all came from deep, but split his two freethrows to score 22 for LA.
The LA Clippers, who dropped to an 8-7 win-loss card, will return home to host the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night (Friday morning, Philippine time).
