Looking strong and 100% focused, the Pinoy fighter Herlan Gomez (5-0, 2 KO's) of the Highland Boxing Team made 117.4 lbs. (53.25 kilos), while the Thai belt-holder came-in in his first try at 122 lbs, four pounds above the Bantamweight limit.

Will Yuttapong Make Weight? Who will emerge VICTORIOUS?

Yuttapong checks his weight during Friday's weighin in Bangkok.

This important WBA Asian bantamweight title rumble is Herlan Gomez' second tough fight here in Thailand.

In his first war here, the handsome Bacolod-native shocked and outclassed unbeaten, hard-swinging Thai slugger Sarawut Jiamthong (7-1, 7 KO's), two months ago at the same plush SpancePlus venue.

This time, the 23-year-old Herlan Gomez has an even more difficult battle.

The Filipino wages war against the defending Yuttapong Tongdee (8-0, 4 KO's), the very same Thai fighter who in his last rumble decisioned brave Filipino veteran "Mr. Pogi" Ryan Rey Ponteras (23-16-3, 12 KO's) last August 3.

In the mind of most boxing fans, the mission is not an easy one for any of the two undefeated combatants. What will happen?

Will the skilled Herlan Gomez shock and dethrone the defending Yuttapong Saturday afternoon in Thailand on live TV?

Or will the well-trained 29-year-old Yuttapong - a former Muay Thai fighter - be able to out-school and box younger boxer born in Saravia, Negros Occidental?

Boxing fans outside of Thailand may try to watch the fight live, directly from the official link of WorkPoint TV Channel 23:
