PEZA to host Rapid chess tilt on Friday

MANILA---In partnership with JC Premiere Marikina Business Center, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) will host the Rapid Invitational Chess Tournament to be held on Friday, September 30, 9:30 AM at the PEZA main office Double Dragon Center West Building, DD Meridian Park, Diosdado Macapagal Blvd, Pasay City.
Among the invited players are Grandmaster Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr., Grandmaster Darwin Laylo, International Master Angelo Abundo Young, International Master Petronio Roca, Fide Master Alekhine Fabiosa Nouri, Fide Master Robert Suelo Jr., National Master Jasper Faeldonia and Candidate Master Genghis Imperial.
The Time control format is 15 minutes plus 5 seconds increment according to Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Officer-In-Charge Director General Mr. Tereso "Theo" O. Panga.
Tournament Director is Bayanihan Chess Club founding president National Master and United States chess master Almario Marlon Quiroz Bernardino Jr. and assisted by National Master Romeo Alcodia and Noel Jay "Super B" Estacio.-Marlon Bernardino-
