World's # 3 Chainoi Collides Against Aseniero for WBC Asia Super Bantam Belt Saturday in Thailand

PhilBoxing.com

Thailand's world-ranked WBC Asian Super Bantamweight Champion Thattana “Chainoi” Luangphon (17-0-1, 13 KO’s), is set to make the 5th defense of his green belt against the tough fists of Filipino challenger 🇵🇭 Kevin “The Bull” Aseniero (10-3-1, 5 KO’s) of Cagayan de Oro this coming Saturday, August 27, in the City of Angels, Bangkok, Thailand.

The 10-rounder action clash for the coveted WBC Asia strap is a televised NKL Promotion card expected to thrill boxing fans in The Land of Smiles as the Filipino Aseniero aims to follow up on the exciting recent successes in Thailand of his Pinoy kababayans Adrian Sales Lerasan, John Michael Zulueta and Herlan Sixto Gomez.

However, Aseniero’s mission is a tough one as he battles the heavy-handed "Chainoi," a slugger with speed and lethal dynamite in his punches who is currently ranked by the WBC as the world’s #3 super bantamweight.

Kevin Aseniero (L) arrives in Bangkok with his trainer Marvin Alegria.

Fortunately for Kevin, he will be assisted during fight-time by young coach Marvin Alegria, a caring trainer with experience, commitment to his boxers and passion for the sport of boxing.

As a result, Aseniero, 28, feels good for the crucial battle, feeling strong as a super bantamweight, after and intense training at the MP-Highland Gym in Sampaloc, Metro Manila.

According to man of boxing Brico Santig, director of the Highland Boxing Team, Kevin Aseniero has been training for nearly 3 months. He was supposed to fight last month in Australia, but unfortunately that fight in the Land down Under did not materialize.

Kevin kept on training, nevertheless, for another chance. And the chance has come against a Chainoi, a golden opportunity to get into action and prove what to fans what kind of steel he is made of.

The Filipino warrior arrives in Bangkok Tuesday, August 23, for Saturday's battle.

WBC No. 3 ranked Thai Chainoi.

Fans can notice that Aseniero is ready. But so is Chainoi, a man with his mind set in challenging for a world title. So who will prevail? Who will emerge victorious from battle?

Saturday’s title clash promises to be an exciting rumble with much at stake.

So the question in fans’ minds is:

Will the 28-year-old Kevin "The Bull" Aseniero seize the day, shocking "Chainoi." dealing him his first pro boxing defeat, while taking from him work-ranking and strap?

Or will the undefeated, hard-swinging 25-year-old Thai Tiger "Chainoi" (ชายน้อย วรวุฒิ) be too much for the brave warrior born in the Filipino City of Golden Friendship?

Fans outside Thailand may try to watch the fight live from the official website of the broadcasting station Thairath TV Channel 32. The show will be 2:30 PM Thai Time. (Thailand Time is UTC +7, one hour behind The Philippines Time.)
