“She’s now in stable condition, although still critical, according to her doctors,” ulat ng anak niyang dating manlalaro ng volleyball na si “Paneng” Mercado-de Koenigswarter sa reporter na ito noong Biyernes.

“Anything is possible pa daw, the doctors said so medyo marami pang test at operasyon ang dapat gawin. Hopefully, she makes it,” ani Paneng, dating La Salle volleybelles noong siya’y naglalaro pa at kasal kay David Koenigswarter, isang piloto.

That’s why we’re asking all those who want to visit my Mom na sana they understand the present situation.

“Yeah, Diay is now in stable condition, although, yun nga, medyo critical pa rin,” pahayag naman ni Atty, Iroy. “Fighter si Diay and she had repeatedly showed that during her Asia domination of all the competitions of all her events she took part in her reign as the region’s fastest woman in more than two decades.”

Siniguro ng PSC executive director sa anim na taong administrasyon ni Pangulong Duterte na ang kanyang ahensya “will be following to the letter President BBM’s directive to help Diay in her present predicament.”

“And I’ll be convening the incoming PSC board sometime to ask for more assistance.”

“The IOC’s power on this matter is limited, so I need the board to act on it,” dugtong niya.

Iroy.
