SALA SA INIT ... SALA SA LAMIG: Ang Maalamat na Trio ng Golden State Warriors

Siyam na taon ag nakalilipas, ng Golden State Warriors Trio nina Steph Curry, Klay Thompson at Draymond Greeen ay dumayo sa Denver noong isang malamig na gabi nang Abril at talunin ang Nuggets sa Game 2 ng Western Conference first-round series.

Matapos ang serye, nagpahayag si Curry na animo isang propeta: “We’re a resilient team!”

Hindi pa marahil natanto ng Warriors guard kung gaano katama ang kanyang sinabi. Na ang mga ito ay hindi bukam-bibig lamang.

Ang Warriors ay nakapasok sa NBA playoffs ng 27 beses noong siyam na season na iyon. At nanalo sila ng kahit isang laro sa siyam na road games noong pagkakataong iyon. Na hindi pa napapantayan sa kasayhsayann ng NBA.

Mas matamis at mas gugustuhin ito ng kanilang fans, kabilang na ang libo-libong Pilipinong naninirahan sa Bay area at karatig na lugar, pero para kay coach Steve at mga Wqrriors, panahon na para maputol ang kanillang apat na taong pagkauhaw sa tagumpay.
