Romblon Philippines Conquers Arab-Colegas Team Battle

MANILA---Romblon Philippines Chess Team (RPCT) bagged the Championship crown and stopped Colegas De Kike of Madrid Spain in the latest Arab Festival Colegas Team Battle held at lichess platform. Colegas was on its way to Grand Slam by winning 2 consecutive Championships but their celebration was stunned by RPCT.
The Romblon reinforced team was headed by Nueva Ecija ace Pherry James Baloc who proves his resistance and energy in a 12-hour marathon by garnering 224 points. Baloc was supported by other scoring board teammates Andres Bautista, AGM Joseph HajiYusuf Riano Villanueva Galindo, Renz Naval, NM Elwin Herbias Retanal, Jiggy Miguel Miggy Vicente, Norman Madariaga, Neph Bantang, Engr. Ernie Faeldonia, Eric Calacday, Rey Julius Taguba, Roland Villa, Engr. Gerald Sarito Gas, Nicky Olvina, Eric Frigillana, Jeffrey Jimenez, Christian Espayos, Randolfh Mata, Jandee Honrada & Jerick Concepcion Faeldonia.
