Great night of boxing returns to Panamá

On Thursday, August 19, promoters Sampson Boxing, Best Box and Paco Presents will host the first of a six-event series of international professional boxing events, in a series called “Hot Boxing,” to be held at the Centro de Vasco Núñez de Balboa Conventions at El Panamá Hotel in Panama City and with live international transmission by TyC Sports and by TV Max de Panamá.
In the main event of Boxeo Caliente, local star and ranked WBA super featherweight #9 Jaime “Jaimito” Arboleda (16-2, 13 KOs) will face Argentine former double world champion Jonathan “Yoni” Barros (43-7 -1, 22 KOs) in 10 rounds for the WBA Fedebol super featherweight title.
In the 10-round co-main event, former Argentine super middleweight champion Sebastián “La Promesa” Papeschi (17-3, 6 KOs) will face Colombian Dormedes Potes (12-3-1, 9 KOs).
Lightweight Darvin Galeano (10-0, 7 KOs) will face Humberto Galindo (13-1-1, 10 KOs) of the United States in a 10-round bout.
At the opening of the international broadcast, it will be an eight-round featherweight duel between sensational local prospect José “Magnífico” Núñez (11-0-2, 4 KOs) against Ecuadorian Jorge “El Demoledor” Saquinga (10-7 -1, 4 KOs).
