Saludar, Paradero both tipped in at 104.4 lbs as the WBA title fight unfolds today in Biñan

DAVAO CITY – Reigning Asia Boxing Federation minimumweight champion Victorio “Vicious” Saludar (20W-4L-0D, 11KOs) of Polomolok, South Cotabato and undefeated Robert “Inggo” Paradero (18W-0L, 12KOs) of Bukidnon both scaled at 104.4 lbs. Friday during the official weighin.

Saludar and Paradero will fight for the vacant World Boxing Association World minimumweight championship title in Biñan City, Laguna today (Feb. 20).

“OK na ako (I'm OK),” said Paradero.

The third manion the ring will be referee Nowel Haduca of Quezon City while the three judges are Danrex Tapdasan, Aquil Tamano and Alfie Jocosol.

The fight will be held at the Biñan Laguna Football Stadium. It will be shown live and televised by PTV.

It is dubbed as the “Night of Champions XXII” and is promoted by Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde Jr. of Elorde International Productions.
