"SFT 22: THE RETURN" OFFICIAL RESULTS

SAN PAULO, Brazil (November 2, 2020) -- SFT MMA & Xtreme (Standout Fighting Tournament) returned home to Brazil this past Saturday on Halloween night for its first show promoted there since February 29 due to the COVUD-19 pandemic.

"SFT 22: The Return," an all-female mixed-martial-arts card, was fully dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness, featuring 4 MMA fights, 1 Xtreme bout, and 1 grappling match.in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In the main event, Pamela Mara Assis (5-2-1, SFT: 3-0-0) and previously undefeated Andreia "Thai" Serafim (4-1-0, SFT: 2-1-1) put on a classic show in their Brazilian battle for the SFT MMA female strawweight title. Assis used a guillotine choke to submit Serafim in the fourth round to be crowned the new champion.

Midway through the opening round of the co-featured event, the referee halted the fight and asked the ringside physician to exam Sidy Rocha (12-8-2, SFT: 0-1-0), who was making her SFT debut, and her fight against winner Karina "Killer" Silva (13-4-0, SFT: 2-0-0) was stopped because Rocha had fractured her arm. Silva was awarded a victory by technical knockout.

Brazilian strawweight Julia Polastri (8-2-0, SFT: 1-0-0) made a successful SFT debut, locking in a rear naked choke to submit her fellow country-mate, Jessica "So Na Manha" Evelyn Cunha (8-3-0, SFT: 0-0-0), in round two.

In SFT's unique Xtreme competition, Brazilian strawweight Bianca Sattelmayer won a unanimous decision over Argentina's Florencia Greco, continuing the fiercest rivalry in South American sports. Xtreme allows striking, kicking and knees with 4-ounce gloves; clinching and fighting on the mat is prohibited.

Brazilian bantamweights Thalita Diniz (3-1-0, SFT: 1-1-0) and Claudia Leite (4-3-0, SFT: 2-2-0) found hard for three rounds with Diniz emerged with a win by way of a unanimous decision.

Brazilian grappling was also on display as Isabela "Belinha" de Padua (6-2-0, SFT: 5-0-0) submitted Patricia Barbosa de Sousa at the 5:15 mark with a sweet rear naked choke.
