SHOWTIME SPORTS® RELEASES PREVIEW CLIP FROM EMMY® AWARD-WINNING SERIES ALL ACCESS PhilBoxing.com Sat, 24 Oct 2020  NEW YORK – October 23, 2020 – SHOWTIME Sports has released two preview clips for episode two of ALL ACCESS: DAVIS VS. SANTA CRUZ as the Emmy Award-winning series concludes tonight, October 23 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME®. Fight week looms for the highly anticipated Halloween thriller between Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Leo “El Terremoto” Santa Cruz headlining a SHOWTIME PPV® event Saturday, October 31 live from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions. Training in Las Vegas, Davis receives a visit from his two-year-old daughter who reminds her father why he’s fighting, and what’s at stake. “She makes me train harder because I watch her, and I want to give her a better lifestyle than I had coming up,” Davis says. “She definitely brings the softness out of me when I’m around her … because I’m not just living for myself now, I’m living for my daughter.” “She makes me train harder because I watch her, and I want to give her a way better lifestyle than me coming up,” Davis says. “She definitely brings the softness out of me when I’m around her … because I’m not just living for myself no more, I’m living for my daughter.” It was an emotional training camp for Santa Cruz, whose father Jose Sr., spent weeks in the hospital battling COVID-19 alone, but has since recovered and attended his son’s media workout earlier this week. “We were heartbroken and we were crying,” Santa Cruz recalls as he contemplated life without the Santa Cruz patriarch. “I was thinking, man, I wish I could have said goodbye to my dad one last time. I could have hugged him and said I loved him. The doctors said he died twice. We prayed and we asked God to make a miracle.”  |
