NBA -- Bucks fans pay tribute to fallen Kobe
By Andrew Schroeder PhilBoxing.com Sun, 02 Feb 2020

MILWAUKEE -- Hordes of fans decked in L.A Lakers gear attended the Bucks versus Nuggets game yesterday at the Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee as the NBA continues to mourn the untimely demise of superstar Kobe Bryant.
Among those who was in attendance was Travis Page who wore Kobe's No.8 jersey.
"He's a big part of the culture," said the Milwaukee native. "After Michael Jordan retired he took the flame, he held the torch. But I remember Kobe more than Jordan because it's more of my era."
Page, whose seats were near the floor, also said that to him, "Mamba Mentality" is all about "hard work and dedication."

Alex, another Milwaukee native who sat on Section 107 row 23, said his fondest memory about Kobe was the Laker legend's last visit in Milwaukee last February 22, 2016 at the now defunct BMO Harris Bradley Center.
"Perseverance and never giving up to your fears," are the qualities that best represent Kobe, said Alex.

The Bucks, meanwhile, dropped a 127-115 decision to the Nuggets, snapping their nine-game winning streak and dropping their NBA-best record to 41-7.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 31 points and 16 rebounds but it wasn't enough to hold off the rampaging Nuggets who drained 22 triples.
Will Barton led Denver with 24 points while Nikola Jokic added 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
