NBA Daily: Gobert Rallies Jazz Past Mavericks 112-107

Boracay Island, Philippines – Rudy Gobert was dominant on both ends of the court, as he helped the Utah Jazz eke out a come-from-behind 112-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night (Sunday morning, Philippine time) at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The two-time Defensive Player of the Year awardee finished with 22 points on a perfect 8-for-8 field goal shooting, to go with a game-high 17 boards, 2 dimes, and 5 blocks.
Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic added 25 and 23 markers, respectively for the Jazz, who improved to 32 wins and 13 losses to grab solo 2nd place on the Western Conference team standings.
Luka Doncic scored 25 points for Dallas, but was held to only 2 points in the final frame. Seth Curry and Kristaps Porzingis had 19 and 15, respectively for the Mavericks, who dropped to 6th place on the Western Conference team standings with a 28-17 win-loss card.
Up next for Dallas is a crucial game versus the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Jazz will host the Houston Rockets on the same night.
