NBA Daily: Bucks Stretch Win Streak to 12, Bulldoze Knicks 132-88

PhilBoxing.com

Boracay Island, Philippines – The Milwaukee Bucks, the league’s hottest team, are on a tear. They followed up their 41-point hammering of the Charlotte Hornets in their previous outing by beating the New York Knicks to a pulp, 132-88, on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time) at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led a balanced attack that saw all 13 Bucks players chipping in at least 3 points, while shooting 55.8% from the field, including 45.7% from deep as a team.

Milwaukee’s budding chemistry, teamwork, and ball-movement were on display, as all but 2 of their players that saw action contributed to the 30 total assists.

The reigning league MVP finished with 29 points on a 10-for-14 field goal shooting, including 3-for-4 from the rainbow territory, to go along with 15 boards and 3 dimes.

Milwaukee now sits on top of the team standings with an 18-3 win-loss card, extending their winning streak to a league-best 12 straight – also a franchise best since the 1981-82 season.

Up next for the Bucks are the Pistons at Detroit on Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Philippine time).

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks, who dropped to 4 wins and 17 losses, will host the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night (Friday morning, Philippine time).
