Ibgos fights Su on May 10 in China

DAVAO CITY ? Junjesie ?Tornado? Ibgos (13W-3L-0D, 11KO) of the Philippines will fight Cheng Su (13W-2L-1D, 7KO) of China for the World Boxing Organization Oriental super welterweight title on May 10 at the ShangRao Sport Center in Shangrao, China.
The 24-year old Ibgos, who will be accompanied by trainers Mark Canisio and Felix Tanamor, TKO?d Roldan Malinao in the 3rd round last March 14, 2018 in Iligan City.
He lost, however, to Australian Brandon Ogilvie by unanimous decision in a vacant IBF Australian lightweight title last April 8. 2017.
The 29-year old Su TKO?d Panturak Namtong of Thailand in the 8th round last Jan. 17, 2019 in China. He also TKO?d Abulimiti Tuersunniyazi of China in the 5th round last May 27, 2018 in Tieling.
Meanwhile, Antonio Siesmundo (6W-2L-0D, 6KO) of Bohol will fight Yangcheng Jin (7W-4L-2D, 3KO) of China in the undercard.
The 24-year old Siesmundo defeated Jayson Nicart by a 1st round knockout in April 6, 2018 in La Trinidad.
The 31-year old Jin TKO?d Narong Bunchan of Thailand in the 1st round last Oct. 28, 2017 in Macao. (Lito delos Reyes)
