After only a week in training camp where the eight-division titlist had logged 23 rounds of working with the mitts, eight rounds with the heavy bag and the balls plus six hours of roadwork, chief trainer Buboy Fernandez and conditioning guru Justin Fortune announced to raise training frequency to include sparring. Add playing his second passion basketball two-to-three times a day unstopped and Pacquiao, whose fight with the title-pretending American is set January 19 in Las Vegas, who?ll turn 40 years-old a fortnight from today, indeed, will have no problem lasting he remaining seven weeks of his fine-tuning program. ?Yeah, Manny was well advised on the increase on the load and he approved it,? Kambosos was scheduled to fly in on Sunday to lead the sparring team, which also include Philippine middleweight belt-owner and welterweights Leonardo Doronio and Fil-Indonesian Sonny Katiangdagho. Kambosos, who looks and fights like Matthysse provided the offensive quality the defending champion is expected to dish out, while Chavez the defensive clout.
