2018 China Games -- Fan Day and NBA Cares

SHANGHAI -- Whenever the NBA takes its show outside the United States, it makes she sure that everyone can access the events while building a library of memories for fans from all walks of life.
In this year's China Games, the NBA is once again growing its Asia fan base. No less than 15,000 fans trooped to the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai where both the Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers spent the whole afternoon in a series of Media Day and Fan Appreciation Day.
It was an afternoon to remember as the basketball stars from the West reconnected with their fans notwithstanding the shifting time zones and stressful jet lag. Tickets to the NBA Fan Day were free to the public.
During the NBA Fan Appreciation Day in Shanghai, lucky fans teamed up with singer and actress Jike Junyi, singer and actor Adam Fan, music producer and singer Tizzy T, Meteor Garden actor Dylan Wang, actor and singer Mike Angelo, and TV host Rachel Liu to compete with and against select Mavs and 76ers players in the Skills Challenge presented by Master Kong, 3-point Challenge presented by Vivo and Shooting Stars Challenge.
The Mavs capped the afternoon by hosting an NBA Cares Special Olympics Basketball Clinic where they shared the love for the game with the children with special needs. NBA Global Ambassador Dikembe Mutombo boosted the assist with his presence.
