MENAYOTHIN KOs ESTRADA; TIES FLOYD'S 50-0 RECORD

KHORAT, Thailand -- Wanheng Menayothin has just tied the 50-0 unbeaten record of boxing star Floyd Mayweeather Jr. after devastatingly knocking out in 5 rounds Panamanian challenger Leroy Estrada minutes ago here in the beautiful city of Khorat in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Menayothin, also known as Chayaphon Moonsri, thus retained his WBC world minimumweight title that he has now successfully defended for the ninth time since winning it from Oswaldo Novoa of Mexico on Nov. 6, 2014.
Violent right hands landed powerfully over the inexperienced Panamanian fighter sending him down to the canvas a total of 5 times during the one-sided battle.
The TKO came in round 5 when third man Jay Nady seeing Estrada helplessly hurt on the floor waved the fight off.
