NBA -- Sixers take 2-1 lead over Miami

Miami -- Joel Embiid?s return after missing 10 games, was a smashing playoff debut as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Miami Heat 128-120 Thursday night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
Embiid scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the victory. Embiid played with a black mask to protect his facial injury. The All Star center had helped from teammates Marco Belinelli who scored 21 points and Dario Saric who also scored 21 points. Ben Simmons of the Sixers contributed 19 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.
Goran Dragic of the Miami Heat led the Heat with 23 points and 8 assists, Josh Richardson added 18 points, Justise Winslow 19 points, 10 rebounds 3 assists, James Johnson 12 points 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Game 4 will be played Saturday April 23 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami at 2:30 PM.
