By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Wed, 07 Mar 2018

FILIPINO prospect Glenn Enterina is fighting Rajesh Kumar of India for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth World lightweight title on March 17 in Panchkula City in Haryana, India.
The 22-year old Enterina [12W-3L-1, 9 KOs]will be accompanied by his trainer Jeephel Delima of RCJ Boxing Stable owned by boxing couple Raffy and Clarissa Jimenez.
The 12-round title fight will be supervised by Kiate Sirigul of Thailand.
Enterina, a native of Magsaysay, Lanao del Norte previously won an 8th round technical knockout against Jonel Gadapan (12W-10L-2D) last December 3 at the Iligan City public plaza.
?Glenn is now excited and ready to fight,? said manager Raffy Jimenez.
It will be Enterina?s third outing in abroad. However, he lost both first two foreign assignments.
Enterina first dropped a unanimous decision to Mark Urvanov last March 25, 2017 at the PNTZ Palace of Culture in Pervouralsk then bowed to Japanese Masayuki Ito by a 6th round TKO on September 2 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
?This time I will do my best to score my first win in abroad,? said Enterina.
Kumar, on the other hand, is still undefeated with eight wins, two by way of knockouts and with one draw.
He won his last three fights including a technical knockout against Vishal last October 14 at the Spartans Sports Club in Gurgaon. The 23-year old native from Bhiwani, India previously scored a majority decision against Kuldeep Dhanda last December 10 at the same venue.
Kumar has already beaten two Filipino boxers in 2016. He first beat Gabriel ?Peligroso? Royo last April 11 in Jinghong then later on survived against Jimmy Borbon by a split decision on August 7 at the Quelao Dream World in Penglai.
