DELA TORRE READY FOR SECOND FIGHT IN THE U.S.

Undefeated prospect Harmonito Dela Torre of the Sanman Gym of Gen. Santos City arrived in Iowa with his team, Cuban trainer Osmiri "Moro" Fernandez, Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil and Sanman Secretary Ramon Falgui on Wednesday. He will fight at the WinnaVegas Resort and Casino in Sloan,Iowa
Sanman CEO JC Manangquil informed philboxing that Harmonito did a light workout and weighed in 132lbs, just one pound over the contracted weight limit of 131. Weigh in is set Thursday 4pm western time.
Dela Torre (18W-0L,12KO?s) will face Jose Luis Araiza (31W-18L-2D,22KO?s) of Mexico in an non-title fight. Dela Torre was supposed to fight Frank Trader of Philadelphia who pulled out due to an injury.
Dela Torre made his U.S. debut last May and won by majority decision against Guillermo Sanchez in New York. The 22 year old Dela Torre has spent time training in Florida under his Cuban coach. Two years ago, he knocked out Isack Junior of Indonesia in the fourth round for the WBF world super featherweight title in Gen.Santos City.
