The WBC reported ?While in Mexico City, Golovkin was a big hit with local fans and media, meeting with a very large contingent of local press in addition to retired boxing legends JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ SR., ROBERTO DURAN, ROY JONES JR. and HUBLOT CEO RICARDO GUADALUPE. Accompanying Golovkin were promoter TOM LOEFFLER of K2 PROMOTIONS and his longtime trainer ABEL SANCHEZ. Sporting a record of 36-0 with 33 knockouts, Golovkin is known as ?The Most Exciting, Hardest-Hitting, Most Feared Fighter in the World.? From recently selling out arenas in New York City (Madison Square Garden), Los Angeles (The Fabulous Forum) and London (The O2) totaling 55,000 fans in consecutive fights to his sponsorships with the JORDAN Brand, Apple, Samsung, EXPO 2017 and Bijan, Golovkin is one of the most marketable boxers in the world.
