BOCA SEEKS IBF REGIONAL BELT IN THAILAND

Jeny Boy Boca of the Sanman Gym of Gen. Santos City will face Thai Komgrich Nantapech on September 30 in Bangkok,Thailand for the IBF Asia flyweight title. Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing of this match-up.
?Boca has been preparing for this fight for 6 weeks. He is prepared and is looking to beat the Thai in his home country.? Manangquil stated.
Boca (12W-3L,10KO?s) is also confident about his preparations for this fight. ?I?m well prepared for this fight and I am going to give everything I got in the ring.? Boca said.
The 22 year old Boca won his last two bouts by unanimous decision against Michael Rodriguez and Jeffrey Alejandre since suffering a TKO loss last December to Giemel Magramo in Paranaque City.
Boca will be accompanied by Sanman CEO Manangquil, CFO Dexter Tan and Sanman Vice President John Ray Manangquil. This will be Boca?s first trip abroad.
The 27 year old Komgrich a.k.a. Eaktwan BTU Ruaviking (21-3,14KO?s) or Eaktawan Krungthepthonburi is ranked in the top ten of the IBF. He won his first five fights as a pro before losing to Albert Pagara in Maasin City four years ago. He also lost to another Filipino contender, Froilan Saludar in 2013. Komgrich has wins against Filipino boxers Lionel Legada and Jomar Fajardo. He won the vacant IBF Asia title last July, beating Filipino Jay-ar Diama by unanimous decision in Thailand.
